Connecting the Culm Open Forum
June 21, 2022

The Connecting the Culm team are delighted to be holding the next Open Forum in person at Coldharbour Mill, Uffculme on Thursday 14th July from 7 to 9pm and everyone is invited to join this event for an evening of discussion, celebration and learning, accompanied by wine, local cider and cheese.

Full details are on Eventbrite through this link: The event is free but numbers are limited so early booking is recommended.

The evening will start with short presentations, including a talk by Dr Anthony Firth about his research on the history of the River Culm and how historic water management might help us find solutions for the future, followed by an opportunity to speak more informally to the CtC team and volunteers about their work such as farm advice on nature-based solutions, Citizen Science water quality monitoring, school and community art, and the Blueprint and plans for it to go live online. They will also be exhibiting Richard Carmen’s landscape art and visualisations and launching a new programme of ‘Catchment Connection’ activities and events.
