Online workshop – Enabling Community Maintenance for Local Flood Risk Management
Wednesday 16th July 10.30 am- 12.30pm

Community resilience to flood risks is essential. New guidance, led by the Construction Industry Research and Information Association (CIRIA) and part-funded by the Environment Agency, will be introduced at this webinar next month. The guidance aims to help communities and Risk Management Authorities work better together and empower local community groups to undertake safe, appropriate and routine maintenance of local flood risk management infrastructure. This will improve local resilience and define how communities can work on a voluntary basis with Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) to better reduce local flood risk.
