Culm Vale Community Choir

Choir

Culm Vale Community Choir meets every other week in Uffculme on Tuesday evenings. It’s run by the experienced director Andy Hague who launched Sweet Honi and Soul in Honiton.

Culm Vale Community Choir is focussed on the natural voice style. Andy believes that everyone who can speak can sing and that all most people need is material that’s not too complex, good direction and a friendly bunch of fellow singers.

Cost is kept to a minimum, because Andy provides his services free of charge. At the moment the suggested contribution is only £2 per session. We sing roots Gospel numbers, African chants, Folk/World music and Pop, all unaccompanied and taught by ear.

There’s no music to read, so you don’t need to read music! At the moment we are just under 20 strong, but we’d like to grow. The focus is on fun and simply enjoying the richness of harmony. To find out more contact Andy Hague on hague151@gmail.com
